Charly Evon Simpson is a playwright and performer. Her plays include Jump (2017 MFA Playwrights Workshop at the Kennedy Center), Hottentotted (2017 The Tank; 2016 ANT Fest at Ars Nova), or what she will (FringeNYC 2012), While We Wait, who we let in, , Scratching the Surface, and more. Her work has been seen, heard, and/or developed at places such as Ensemble Studio Theatre, Ars Nova, The Flea, The Brick, The Tank, Fresh Ground Pepper, and Crashbox Theatre Company. Charly is currently a member of Pipeline Theatre Company's PlayLab. She was a 2016 Resident Artist at SPACE on Ryder Farm and is a former member of the Obie Award-winning group Youngblood at Ensemble Studio Theatre. Colette Robert is a Los Angeles native currently living and working in New York. Recent directing credits include: HOW MY GRANDPARENTS FELL IN LOVE (EST), WHAT EVERY GIRL SHOULD KNOW (NYU/Stella Adler Studio), HOTTENTOTTED (The Tank; ANT Fest), THE ASH GIRL (Alfred University), THE MOUNTAINTOP (Chester Theatre Company), ICONS/IDOLS (Ice Factory Festival), FLOPS, FAILURES, AND FIASCOS (The Civilians), SOMETHING LIKE LONELINESS (EST), and WHEN LAST WE FLEW (Diversionary Theatre and FringeNYC, GLAAD Media Award). Colette is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, co-facilitator of the New Georges Jam, and a resident artist with Mabou Mines.
